This kit will give teachers the tools they need to teach children about eating right and being physically active so that they can establish healthy habits for life. They will find easy-to-use, fun lessons and activities that will fit in with their existing routines : games, poems, songs, dances and more!. They will also discover ways to establish a connection with children's families so that children continue to practice healthy habits at home.

This lesson brings together ideas from the previous seven lessons and explains the concept of sustainable food through discussion of how food travels and the importance of community gardens, and how they are linked to healthy eating.
