I-Spy Game for Iroquois 1500.

Learning strategy/game students can play online or on paper after Canada's history around the start of the 1900s. Students follow clues that require them to search for corresponding documents within a larger "book-sized" image.

The Iroquoian and Algonquian people lived in territories that had different characteristics. These features influenced their lifestyle. In this scenario, students will choose one of the two societies, either Iroquoian or Algonquian. They will then read the text that describes their way of life, find the marker points on the map that describe the characteristics of that group's territory, complete the chart on the characteristics of their territory and finally, compare the way of life of your chosen society with that studied by one of your classmates.

With this collection of documents, information and activities, students will be able to describe what happened at the time of initial contact between the Indigenous peoples and Europeans.
