Tanzania : AIDS and a lack of Medication.
The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) is assisting the Tanzanian government to set up the first stages of a treatment program to deal with the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Today, Tanzania remains one of the countries hardest hit by the AIDS virus. From the information given to the students, they are asked to form an opinion on the subject. Students are first asked to write their thoughts on what they have just read. Secondly, students are asked to discuss these thoughts with the rest of the class. Lastly, they are asked to reflect upon the group reactions to the subject matter and to write a small composition comparing their thoughts with those of the class. [Source : In-terre-Actif website]
