Smudge
Christians have cathedrals, Muslims their mosques. Indigenous people in Canada are used to praying in natural settings, all the world is a sacred space. Smudge follows three Indigenous women who celerate their right to worship in their own ways – drumming, singing or using sweetgrass – spiritual practices that may seem at odds with a busy city.
