A tense, tight close-up of stunt man Ken Carter's role on the stock-car racing track. Risking life and limb to rocket a car from a ramp over a parked line of cars takes more than the will to make a living. What else is involved is shown by the film as the camera looks and listens while the stunt man readies for his act and then makes his wild ride.

Outdoorsman Bill Mason, his wife, and two children set out on a wilderness canoe camping holiday. In this film, the art of canoeing is more than technical expertise; it becomes a family experience of shared joy. Along the way there are countless adventures and much lovely scenery, including the Indigenous rock carvings of Lake Superior.

The third in a trilogy of films on two of Canada's most brilliant politicians -- Pierre Elliott Trudeau and René Lévesque -- covering the years between 1976 and 1986. Using newsreel footage and interviews with key political strategists, the film reveals the turbulent, behind-the-scene dramas during the Québec referendum and the repatriation of the Canadian Constitution. In so doing, it also traces the course of each man's fall from power and illuminates turning points in recent Canadian history.
